Imo, it all depends if the rewards can only be obtained in Prismatic Trials or is just an alternate unlock method. The items and chests are all fixed for the entire seed in a Prismatic Trial and you would just need to master a single one. Two hours is nothing. I spent 8 hours on it the day I got it after spending roughly that same amount of time per day over the course of a week (I was transitioning to a new job and had literally nothing better to do).
