He adjusted it and the drive home home was the best it has ever been. So, in my opinion, the combination of the watts link and proper steering gear adjustment is essential, at least on my coach. If you remove it, you will have to reapply clear as a protectant. I suggest sanding, and you will have to scuff the base as well to prepare it for new clear coat.
