You can definitely hear it when you are in park and give it some gas. It's not a high pitch squeal.....the sound reminds me of a gear driven motor but not as loud.theres a slight "whine," if you will, in my car.. its nothing that sounds misplaced though. I've had it since I got the car (used, 50000 miles).. and now I'm up to ~140k and have the same sounds. never had an issue with the ac, always blows cold.
