I used a harbor freight badlands 3500 winch because we have a store close by. There is about 1/2 inch from the mount to the radiator. I cut about 1/4 inch from the cable lug on the winch just to give a little more room to the radiator as the cable lug is on the back of the winch and has about 1/4 inch clearance before cutting.
