I would just get a LS style 4L60E at a minimum. Personally I would ditch the 60E and get a 4L80E though. The 4l80e bone stock will handle any abuse a stock 6.0 can throw at it. If not then L96 + 6Lxx tranny, the L96 and 6l90 will probably take more work to integrate, so it'll be more expensive. Dirty Dingo slider mounts for about $100 is the way to go. LS motor and any trans will bolt together and drop in with no welding. Do the wire harness yourself and save a butt load of $$.
