Sometimes you don't always get one that lets you have a secondary attack type. My female saiyan uses a QQ Bang with 5/5/5/0/-2/5. So if I put points into Basic Attack or Strikes, it's pretty much wasted. Anything I have left over for stats gets put into Health. Male Saiyans have a race bonus too, which means their Strikes are boosted.
