If you look at the data, the Claybuster gives a lower pressure for the same amount of powder. If Hodgdon didn't specifically have Claybuster data it would be safe to use the WAA12sl data fot the CB 1100-12 per the instructions from Claybuster. I was thinking of reducing powder drop on the Alliant Extra-Lite recipe, but given the low pressure results for the 1,150 f/s published load, I think I will be risking squib loads with Extra-Lite trying to get to 1,000 f/s territory. Does anyone have a suggestion for an alternative recipe using Gun Club hulls and CB0178-12 wads?

If they were talking Winchester, the WAA12L is gray and, and CB equivalent is the gray wad CB0178-12 If they suggested the WAAA12SL, which is pink, the CB equivalent is CB1100-12. Also pink.
