They appear to be identical to RXP 20 wads except they have a rib running up the inside of each petal. Other than the rib, the two wads seem to have identical dimensions.Herco (MEC #26 bushing), Federal S0S1 wad, CCI209M primer, 1 ounce of shot for about 1220 fps @ 9,800 psi. Another possible load for you is 24 grs. Blue Dot (MEC #26 bushing), Federal 209A primer, Rem. SP20 wad, 1 ounce of shot for 1220 fps @ 10,200 psi. Nov 12, 2021 · There isn't one. You probably need the SP20 due to the greatly increased volume of bismuth (it looks like they use a 1oz lead wad for 7/8oz of bismuth). The RXP20 is next closest, a 7/8oz lead wad, which would hold less weight in bismuth (5/8oz maybe), but you can't get those either. Take a look at some of the Ballistic Products/Precision ...

All loads were made using a once-fired B&P F2 Legend hull and Unique powder (the only 20 ga. powder I have on hand due to the current market situation). All the decent 20 ga. 1 oz. wads that protect the entire shot column are either discontinued or unavailable. However, the windjammer 20 ga. wad looks promising, if you can find any. Some of the Euro wads are said to have 1 oz. shot cups but they don't look like they will hold an oz. of shot to me.I have at least 1,ooo RP20 wads to use in the Winchester 20 AA. This is the only wad that works with the 1 1/8 oz. load without an excessive amount of wad pressure. I often use the "newer" Remington one piece 2 3/4 inch casing with 800-X powder and 1 1/8 oz. of shot. The load is listed in the 4th edition of the Lyman Shotshell Reloading book.

I'd believe it to be one of the following: W29944, W29942 or W23678 or a R20 or RP20. The cup dimensions appear to be the same, just the base is shorter on the yellow wad.

The "s" means stitched wad, that is the wad is connected at the top of the slits. Supposed to break apart upon firing. Its main purpose is to ease feeding of the wad on some reloading machines. For reload recipe purposes, it is the same wad. Oct 30, 2020 · The only other way I can think of is if you don't mind a little jury rigging, take a gas seal similar to the SP 20 gas seal cut from another wad & build up the wad column with fiber filler wads & use the shot cup on top. Be careful to use the same type of gas seal as the data you go by. The fiber wad should not significantly change the pressure. B.
