I am trying to make a slither.io-like game in Java, which should allow multiple players to play, they can earn points and increase in size by eating apple as well as eating other shorter players. At the moment, I got the basic of it done, which means a one-person snake game. I want to make it mulpliplayer-able by using sockets.
The controls would be similar to a 3d version of Slither.io, (even though, weirdly, slither.io wasn't an inspiration for the game) where your comet/snake is essentially a long, skinny cylinder. Using the NTL Mod - For the past 2 weeks or so I have been intermittently "locked out" of certain servers. It'll work fine for a while, then suddenly just can't get on that server again. Clicking through the servers, there are usually 2 or so I can get on, but most just won't load for me. I've turned off adblocker, vpn, reloaded the page ...
