The P0420 code means there is an issuie with the catalytic converter on bank 1. This can cause stalling, but in most cases won't.
IF you abs, vdc off, or slip lights are on check these things... 1. Check brake fluid. 2. Check all abs sensors and clips to make sure the wires are not pulled out of plug. 3. check abs sensors on all wheel bearings. The reason i am posting this is because i ran into the same problem with my titan.

There were different light patterns but mostly it seemed to start with flickering Diff Lock light, then VDC Off light, then Diff Lock goes out and ABS, VDC Off, and VDC Slip are all on. It came with code P1839 and the dealer said faulty diff lock position switch/sensor.
