The number of people offered a spot on the waitlist last year was 1,115. 378 accepted to be placed on the waitlist. Ultimately enrolled off the waitlist were 10.. Lafayette and Denison are more similar in size of student body - Lafayette around 2500 and Denison around 2300, while Kenyon is around 1800. Perhaps look at gen eds, minors/concentrations etc. of interest, career development offices. Of course, I've written extensively about how wonderful Denison was for my kid. But all great choices here!
Mother of a recent graduate here (class of 2020.) My daughter had a fantastic experience at Kenyon. She had a healthy social life that included various social outings with friends, day trips to Columbus and Cleveland, concerts, plays and lectures at Kenyon, and sometimes parties as well.
That's why I say it requires further study. When we visited, I didn't see anything amiss. But OP brought up concerns initially and Niche seems to support.
