The lights on the switches don't work anymore and that may be part of the culprit if not the whole culprit. This is what one of our mechanics told me when it happened to me. I would turn the key to accessory mode then immediately start the truck. Every now and then it glitches out the dash lights. So when you go to start it, just turn the key to accessory, let it do all the shit it does, then once the beeping stops start it up.
