How to lock subaru while running.
I might have missed it, but I don't see anything in the Owners Manual about this. It does have a feature that will prevent locking the doors when the key is in the ignition switch, and interestingly, according to the Owners Manual, a dealer can turn this off (page 2-9). But that's an anti-lock, not auto-lock, function.

That's the Security Indicator Light, and it's blinking, it's telling you that the car's security sytem is armed. When the car is locked and off, the Security Indicator Light will blink steadily. i hope u wrap the screwdriver with a fabric or something cuz if not u'll scrape the glass and or break it which would suck even more then locking your keys in your car. u could always pop the trunk and if ur not a fatso u can go thru the pass thr back seat or get something to hit the unlock button with. -Ben-.

If you have a key for ignition there is a setting to not look doors if the key is in ignition. You can tell it set by putting key in ignition and try to lock the doors. they will go down and come right back up. With the keyless entry if the fob is in the car you can't manually lock the doors. You have to use the key fob outside of car.
