Mar 15, 2014 · I am specifically looking to lower my 69 RR a bit and wondered what i can expect it to look like. My plan is to get 1 inch lowered rear leaf springs and the 2 inch drop spindles. From my research i've been told to use the drop spindles instead of adjusting the torsion bars. I will be most likely installing 18 inch wheels as well.

There are 2 screws that hold the console lid. Remove them and slide the lid back off the front bracket. You may have to move the shifter to R-N to do this. I'm still pretty sure someone has 'jumped' or spliced into the paring light wire to power up the dimmer. The parking lights are designed to go out on '68-'69 MoPars when the headlights are on. That may be why the dash lights are only on when the H/L switch is in the 'Park' detent.I only see a very small amount of damage, but I am concerned with the rad support. Again, a proper shop will pull this straight if they can. I have two 64' B bodies so I know this area. I don't think the rad support looks too bad, but you can't be sure until the fender comes off.
