Knight 209 primer jackets.
Not sure other than the non-DISC primer conversion came out well after the move to the full red plastic jacket/DISC Extreme. I have all 3-the original, the red plastic/Extreme conversion and the non-disc. Bought the conversions right before Knight ceased operations for short money.

From what I have read on several forums, the full plastic jacket appears not to consistently ignite the powder charge using BH 209, and the bare primer setup is recommended. I am curious why the plastic jacket setup doesn't work as well as the bare primer.Dec 21, 2014 · The FPJ uses 209 primers, western uses #11 caps. They both work just fine. I use #11's in all my knight plunger guns. In the plunger guns, I wouldn't recommend using BH209 powder, just stick to real black, pyrodex, or 777. If you go with a Mountaineer, you should request the Non Full Plastic Jacket (NFPJ) breechplug setup. It uses bare 209 primers. Anyway, so all I have to do is order the conversion kit for $120 and then a bare primer breech plug for $42 = $162 in a conversion kit (my disc uses the orange ones currently with 209s - that's how I bought it used). Just put the new bolt in and the breech plug for bare primers and this is done. I can blam blam blam with bare 209s.

As far as i know the only difference is the vent liner is not removable in the plug Knight sells.
