Hi I am a new Marlin Owner and everyone I have talked with said if I buy a Marlin rifle try to find one with the JM stamp on the barrel. Well I bought one today it is a 30AW that looks brand new with the JM stamp on the barrel. I think it was made in 1998. First two digits in serial # are 02.
