I've figured the best platform for me would be NinjaTrader because I'm following Mack's Price Action Trading and they offer a bunch of additional add-ins and a discount for NinjaTrader only. I am still a bit lost on why people connect their Interactive Brokers account to their NinjaTrader account.

Meaning it runs on your computer, where as tradovate is a web based application so it runs on the web. The one thing that ninjatrader has over tradovate is that it allows you to pretty much connect to any broker of your choice.

Honestly if your looking for orderflow tools, Quantower, Ninjatrader, and Jigsaw is best. Trading view doesn't have the tools that the other platforms have for trading.
