There was one at Wharfside villa ge, a tourist walking up Jacobs ladder (beaten so badly they thought he was run over by a car) and at Rhumb Lines in Coral Bay.

Grocery shopping. My family and I will be traveling to St. John Virgin Islands next week. My parents feel they need to bring a few boxes of food because the grocery store shelves maybe empty and we may not find essentials. Loved your pictures! You caught the Reef Bay Trail at just the right time for the waterfalls. I've rented from Amalie several times I usually book 3-4 months out and I usually get a confirmation email between 1 and 4 weeks prior to arrival to confirm flights and arrival times. I've never been left stranded.

Easiest and quickest is to get either a rapid antigen test or rapid diagnostic test at either Walgreens or CVS. Both are acceptable and quicker than a PCR test (and only an easy nasal swab, not a brain probe LOL). We've done both tests that I suggested for our last two Dec. trips (before vaccinations were accepted). Edited: 1 year ago.
Would appreciate recommendations about best bug repellants for 1. prevention of bug bites, 2. to spray around outdoor living/dining area and 3. to keep kitchen "critters" away. They are also spacious and can hold easily 2 couples and a few kids.

Save. St. John Hardware (up past Starfish parking lot) sometimes has them. They are a hot commodity and usually run out fast. If you buy they will probably cost you at least $50 per chair. If you are renting a vehicle on St. Thomas you could stop at Cost U Less before getting on the car barge. Edited: 6 years ago.
Answer 1 of 7: We will only be in St. John for a couple of days next week (Feb 10-12) and was interested in renting a jeep for one day. Most of the companies online had a 3-4 day minimum rental. Are there any smaller outfits that do a one day rental?

I take hamburger meat, chicken, steak, salad dressing, prepared breakfast foods, bacon. We usually stay 10 + nights so it helps with food budget and quick dinners as most of my stuff is already prepared and just needs cooking and/or reheating. I get everything as flat as I can in freezer bags and stack it in the freezer.To stay 15 days on St John would be my choice. 2/3rds of the island is National Park and with 33 bays and numerous hiking trails to explore you will not run out 8f things to do. August you will have very calm seas is no storms are in region (get travel insurance this is hurricane season and villas will not refund you).
