Not sure if it's true, but if it is it would explain the oddly high number of reports that aren't explained by niche knowledge on ghost behavior. Anyways in the mean time ensure you and your pals verify the integrity of the files of phasmo on steam. Sometimes things do get gummed up. Keep working on getting those evidences.
This challenge exists because the ghosts in phasmophobia are so diverse that you can identify them without the need of any evidence other than their behaviour in the current state of the game, with only some awkward exceptions. If these exceptions are somewhat corrected, the challenge would instantly become awesome.
