It seems, they are using 4-pin PWM type fans (see attached photo) and I could replace them with Noctua quiet fans but Noctua fans draw little power compared to the fans inside the inverter drawing 12 ...I had enough with the light strobe on the 6500EX, went down that rabbit hole with Adam. Wasted countless weekends attempting to fix it thinking it was on my end. I installed the LV6548's temporarily while waiting for replacement 6500EX's arrived. Mar 5, 2022 · Eventually, whatever is going on with them will fry sensitive electronics. The only difference I knew of is the bonding screw I removed in the LV’s. So although I wouldn’t think that would be the problem, I asked if I could remove the screws in the EG4’s. They agreed. Yeah, on mine the eg4 setting had 56v bulk and 56v float. The battery status on the display never read accurately even when the voltage reading was good. The "scale" was just off and using the inverter values to monitor on Solar Assistant battery values was no good.
