Yellow lotus is hands down easiest. Just a couple flowers with a sickle and you have enough for multiple resets. Just only make one potion at a time and leave the rest of the flowers In alch bench for when you want more. Very easy to stock up on. You can also make multiple and just put them in fridge.

I would check what mine are at (I never get durability loss on armour/weapons, but do on tools) but I can't actually log on because Funcom decided to drop another ...If you repair at the needed workbench (armory smithy) you loose even less. Thrall crafted items need to be repaired at a station with the thrall to lower durability loss. They would also need to increase the base durability a bit if they would add that system.
