You would need to look at each of these with each weapon you would prefer to hunt with. Personnally I would try muzzleloading elk in a 4 point area.

Better count on waiting 4 years (3 points) for a muzzy bull tag. Last year only 56% of those with 2 points got a tag. That will probaly continue to get worse.

I currently have 3 preference points and this unit was 100% draw at 3 PPs in 2021. But in 2020 it was drawn out at 6 points (talking 3rd rifle if that matters).
