It's a nice glossy website but has the following signs of a scam/bad investment: You can't point to the assets you own, since you own shares of the farmland, not the land itself. It looks pretty opaque. They don't discuss management fees at all - I bet they're high. You sell your shares on the "Acretrader Marketplace" A.K.A the company store.
