On my Gen4, I've had two mag catches and springs replaced due to excessive wear of the catch and the notches in the mags. It has slightly more felt recoil than the 30 due to lighter slide and thinner grip. I never noticed musch difference with the 36 slide on my 30 (same as 30s).
