The Shortbow puts in work and arrows are pretty cheap too. Poison Arrows absolutely wreck bosses. They're that sharp cheddar cheese. I'm just trying to determine what the strongest Light Bow will be. So far I have Shortbow, Red Branch Bow, and Composite Bow. Composite lookin' like it might be the best. Longsword, Lordsworn Straight Sword, and Broadsword are the top 3 consistently in terms of sword that can have their ash of war changed. Ornamental Straight Sword, Nobles Slender Sword, and Weathered Straightsword would be next for dex focus. I would recommend curved Swords, as there's lots of variety and their moveset is very fun.Finally just beat one at level 22 with a confessor strength build. Took me several tries at this level. As a primary int build, I've gone back to Dark Moon Greatsword, although it's clearly inferior to Sword and Night and Flame or Hoarfrost pre patch. I can't say for certain, but I would imagine that Dex builds is probably the strongest melee option now.

Keepsake - Whatever, but I advise Shabiris Woe just because it makes Mimic Tear better later and it's a little out the way in terms of story and trophies.
