The label said clones but in reality they would be copies of the design. I understand that many parts are interchangeable but it stands to reason that the parts would not be of the same quality. Benelli has the M2, M4, and Nova designs. Elements of those have been incorporated into many other shotguns.

Franchi really seems to be an excellent budget benelli clone and is becoming very popular in the North American market. That being said, if you want a proven and well-established record of durability, reliability, accuracy, longevity, customer service, and can afford to drop 2 grand on a waterfowl and clay gun, I'd say spring for a Benelli.

When I had my Toros T4 it would not eject lighter loads 100% of the time. People in this thread said to swap on the extractor and spring with Benelli parts. I did that and it worked 100%.
