So, the less your pin weighs, the less air pressure in the bags. One shouldn't be stiffer than another. My hitch is rated to 20k, 4.5k pin; my trailer has around 2k on the pin and it rides perfectly. If I inflate above the ride line, the hitch stiffens. In my opinion, the TS3 is Trailer Saver's superior hitch.
Posts: 62. The TS3 TrailerSaver hitch is one of the best around for towing heavy fivers. I have the 32K LP model. If I were to buy another hitch today it would be another TrailerSaver hitch. The Binkley head that TrailerSaver uses is a heavy duty hitch head. The people at TrailerSaver are also good people to deal with.
I have been pulling a 5th wheel for 11 years with a B&W and have always been very happy. I had a 2008 Eagle 291RLTS / 2008 F350 SRW and now a 2017 North Point 315RLTS / 2017 F350 SRW.
