Aug 10, 2018 · To temporarily adjust my deck I raise the deck all the way up, shut off the engine, and put a 4x4 block under the 4 corners of the deck ( the blocks are 1/2 inch longer than the hanging deck) This totally takes the pressure off of the knob assembly and the knob turns easily. There is a small detaunt that the blade sets in so it is centered to the shaft and the bolt. Tightening the bolt with a wrench will not get it tight enough.
