I come from a long run of arctic cats where I could put 5000 or 6000 miles on the motor and never think about taking the top end off. 850 blew up. So my 2022 assault 850 with 1255km blew up the other day. No reasons at all was going on a nice straight and just shut down. I guess the top and the bottom end are gone. What would cause it. Dealer is saying codes show over heating but it was running 100 to 110. Sled had never been over heated ever.

There has been a number of guys on here that have said there isn't a noticeable difference between Gen 4 & Gen 5 in the trail models. I think the Gen 5 in the Summit and Freeride is where there has been significant improvements. I have seen a lot of good reviews of the Gen 5 in the Deep Snow.
