The battery is good because I had it checked and the cables are also good. My lights don't dim out but it won't start even with a jump. It don't click when I try to start it and it has a battery light , red lightning bolt and check engine light on. Install the new ignition switch: Install the new ignition switch by reversing the steps you took to remove the old one. Make sure to tighten the screws and reconnect the electrical connectors.
