Empty your inventory of any existing aloe and try using a tool like sickle, axe or something. That might trigger it to complete. Not sure if you can just pick them by hand to get it. You just have to pick it up. So if you already have one or find it on an enemy, you just have to transfer it to your inventory. Just crafting it or spawning it doesn't work.

I believe i actually found a feast on a body and ate it to complete the journey. They definitely seem to go out of their way to make it as convoluted and confusing for each journey. Okay this one took a few tries to figure out, but basically you have to use the god tool to harvest a body until it turns into a loot bag. Not just once for your token, but two/three times. I'm stuck and have also been using the Yog cleaver.
