So, how does Wolf Link work in Breath of the Wild?Well, you aren't suppossed to 'wave' it, and that noise means is recognizes it as an NFC thing, but not an amiibo. Unless the little tag shows up at the top of the screen saying that you've already used it. Idk what to tell you. Stop waving it, you're supposed to hold it down until it activates.

If you're far enough to enable the amiibo options, you will get the amiibo rune. Select the rune (runes are bombs, magnet, etc), use it to aim it somewhere, then place your amiibo on your right analog stick. You can redeem amiibo stuff once per day btw. That's irrelevant, you won't be able to rescan the same Amiibo regarless in BoTW because it resets every 24h based on the Wii-U's internal clock, if you notice, the save games are always the same day so BoTW will keep thinking 24hrs havent passed and you won't be able to reuse the same amiibo. 3.
